This one meter long custom cable is for connecting iPod and iPhone to Sony A/V cradle. This cable consists of several sets of wire for different purposes. One 75ohm HDPE shielded wire is for video transmission. Two shielded wires are for audio transmission. The rest of wires are for charging, handshaking, grounding, and triggering. One end is soldered to iPod/iPhone connector with push-button lock for secure and the other end is connected to housing which will be plugged into the gut of Sony A/V cradle. The molded strain reliefs are specially made to guarantee to withstand an external force of 50N (about 5kgf) for one minute.
