This standard SATA (Serial Advanced Technology Attachment) cable has 6 connectors. The 10 pins and 6 pins connectors in white color are crimped with UL1007 AWG18 wires. Two 7+15 pins molded connectors in black, connecting to the hard drive of a computer, are soldered with UL1007 wires and UL20276 flat cable. UL20276 flat cable has 7 core wires which are for data transfer up to 6Gbit/s. Two 7 pins molded connectors with metal clip in black are soldered with UL20276 flat cable. The SATA host adapter is integrated into almost all modern consumer laptop computers and desktop motherboards. Additional Info: SATA cable has three revisions issued in different time. Revision 1 has data transfer rate 1.5Gbit/s. Revisions 2 and 3 have data transfer rate 3.0Gbit/s and 6.0Gbit/s, respectively.
